Paul has been a qualified financial adviser since 1984 and following positions with Royal London and Allied Dunbar he moved into a role as an independent financial adviser in the nineteen nineties. In 2004 he established a firm to successfully consolidate his years of experience in management and provide advice and financial services to long-standing clients. Known as Island Financial, the firm later re-branded itself under the name of its successful flagship service, Aspen Wealth Management.

Paul has a broad range of financial expertise and holds the Diploma in Financial Planning and the advanced level 6 paper in Pension Planning (Awarded by The Chartered Insurance Institute).

When not working, Paul participates every week as a volunteer for two charities in the community. He also enjoys family time in the Solent on board his boat when the weather is good, and going to see live bands. Much to his wife’s relief, he has now retired his active participation in motorcycles, but he still manages to get some thrills on a pair of skis.
